Our Early Help Offer

At Holy Rosary, we aim to support the whole family at the earliest possible opportunity to meet the needs of every pupil in the school.

Where we do not have the resources to support as a school, we work closely with Staffordshire Family Support & Outreach Service to get families the help they need to thrive.

Any parent who has a 0-19 year old child and identified needs for low level family support (Tier 2) can access the Staffordshire Family Support & Outreach Service. They visit the families in their homes to provide one to one help with improving home life and outcomes for children. This service provides a range of activities focused on developing house-keeping, money management and parenting skills; developing confidence, aspiration and reducing isolation; accessing education, employment, training and volunteering opportunities; and supporting families to access other relevant services.

Anyone can make a referral into our service but school would usually take the lead on this. Staffordshire Family Support & Outreach Service use a standard referral form which you can complete with the family.  Download the referral form here (this can also be used for families to make self-referrals) and send it to: staffordshire@malachi.org.uk
